Cangzhou City Radiation Safety Emergency Special Drill was Successfully Carried Out by Dalipal

On the morning of 26 June, according to the unified deployment and work arrangement of the Cangzhou Ecological Environment Bureau, the 2023 Cangzhou City Radiation Safety Emergency Response Special Drill organized by Dalipal was successfully carried out. Pang Shengjun, deputy director of the Cangzhou Ecological Environment Bureau, with more than 40 relevant responsible personnel from the Radiation Division of the Municipal Bureau, the Municipal Monitoring Center and various county and city branches, and also some representatives from other enterprises came to the scene to observe the drill.

The special drill set up the scenario of "the access control monitoring system finds that there is radioactive excess in the scrap iron and steel transported by cars” and simulated a series of subjects and processing procedures from discovery, review, reporting to disposal. Through the drill, the prevention awareness and emergency handling ability of all relevant staff for sudden radiation incidents has been improved which has achieved the expected purpose.
