Passing the Torch of Service: Volunteers Warm the City in International Volunteer Day Initiative

On 5th December, marking the 40th International Volunteer Day, Dalipal partnered with the Cangzhou Bohai New Area Trade Union to launch a volunteer service campaign under the theme “Harnessing Volunteer Spirit for a Better Society.” The event aimed to deliver warmth and demonstrate social responsibility through concrete actions.

Volunteers took to the streets in neighborhoods, focusing on high-traffic areas for shared bikes such as main roads, commercial blocks, and bus stops. They systematically rearranged bicycles that were improperly parked, obstructing sidewalks or emergency access lanes, following the principle of “orderly, directional, and designated-point” placement. Meanwhile, they promoted courteous riding practices and encouraged proper parking among residents.

The volunteers also extended care to retired military personnel by distributing comfort supplies. They listened earnestly to veterans’ stories of dedication and past endeavors, inquired warmly about their health and needs in later life, and expressed heartfelt respect and gratitude for their service.

The Dalipal Volunteer Service Team, established for years, has been consistently engaged in volunteer efforts ranging from self-organized small-scale initiatives to frequent collaborations with local unions, communities, and other social organizations. Over the years, the team has remained active in various public welfare activities both within and beyond the company, growing into a significant force in fulfilling corporate social responsibility and spreading warmth and positive energy.
